Help, Still Not Able to Send

I'm still not able to send mail but can receive it. I'm having TCP/IP

and Authentication error msgs?  Can anyone send screen shots of how the

SMPT and Authentication part of Thunderbird should be setup? I did

follow the instructions I received from another person but it still

isn't working. Too bad because I really like it...

See attached.  This is for T-Bird v3.0 but it should be the same for other versions as well.  The Username and password is one that is set in the Mercury/32 setup.

Here's the contents of the dialog box for SMTP connections from TBird 3(Sorry about the lack of a screen shot):

Server name: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465
 
Security and Authentication Section
Use Name and Password Checked
User Name: {your gmail address without the @gmail.com}
Use Secure Authentication : UNChecked
Connection Security : SSL/TLS
 
These settings work for me under Win 7 and they haven't been changed since WinXP-SP2(I just tried them!).
