Queued mail not sending

Your wife runs Pegasus from her own Windows account? Does she have any other internet-related problems? Does she have this Pegasus problem if she logs into her Pegasus account while YOU are logged into Windows?

Hi I am having another problem. When I attempt to send queued mail I get the following error message

[*] Connection established to 192.168.1.2

I am using Pegasus Mail 4.52 and don't use Mercury. Has anyone any idea where my problem lies. To my knowledge nothing has changed to my system. Any help would be much appreciated.

Pegasus is connecting to a LAN address rather than a WAN address. I take it you're on a local area network? You could try this: Tools | Internet options | Sending mail and then check 'Use in preference to LAN mailer for Internet mail'. I've never had to use this option but perhaps it works in your particular situation.

Cheers!

Thank you Steffan but no joy.We just have the one computer in the house with two Pegasus mailboxes. It is my wife's mail that is coming up with the handshake error. She can receive mail but not send. My mail is working fine. However  if I send her a test email I get a corrupted .cnm file that prevents me opening my mailbox. Hope this all makes sense

Could you provide some more details about how you've set up Pegasus Mail please? For example, I assume that you have a mult-user setup, don't you?

Hi Steffan we have a fairly basic setup for Pegasus mail. A multi user setup with two users. Mercury not installed. We receive mail via a pop3 host and send mail via a smpt host. Is this the sort of detail you want?

More or less :-) I'm at a loss as to how you can end up with a corrupted .cnm file after trying to send your wife a test mail.

As for her sending issue, however, have you entered the same smtp host details in the Sending options when logged in as your wife?

Cheers,
Steffan
