You do not use "Add mailbox to list" to add identities, you do this to point at directories containing mail files (*.cnm files) and folders (*.PMM/PMI file pairs).  You you need to use the same path to the directory and name for the mailbox you used when you first added it when  you restore the mailbox after closing it.

This only moves the current mail folders to a different structure.

Hi again!

By what I read in the help system for 4.51 I should be able to disconnect a mailbox and reconnect it.  I disconnected all right.  I named it "Archive"(in 'identities', which I think was not what I should have done)  - it was one of three old mailbox/ files from the older Pmail, that I had recently moved into the other so I'd be able to read them if I wanted to.  But I didn't want to look at them all the time in the folder window, so I clicked "disconnect" at the mailbox level.  Now I don't see how to get them back.  I select the mail box and right click and it only gives me "disconnect" and "select identity".  And I don' tthink the one I attached "Archive" to is visible at all.  I do want to be able to see them when I want to - how can I get them back when I can't see the mailbox?

I see there's a way to tell Pmail to move a mailbox, which can also cause it to go hunting mailboxes, but that doesn't seem to be quite what I want.

I'm afraid to close the program in case that makes the disappearance permanent.

Thanks for your help.
