I wrote "I have the same identity for a very long name on different mail servers".

Thank you for your help, but your proposal does not meet my expectations.

I just would like to see a longer name and identity to the names that were identical to those addresses. It's everything and nothing else.

Please expand the menu with postal addresses in the main window and message window.

Now you can see about 18 characters.

Well, if you mean the columns in the preview and message windows it's actually exactly 29 characters, not 18. This is indeed not much nowadays but it can't be changed due to limitations of the currently used folder format in Pegasus Mail (in fact the index file of the folder is the culprit). It will be changed in future versions, though.

I do not know what you mean by "exactly 29 characters".

I see 17 or 19 characters. Average is 18.

How can I change the program to see 29 characters?
I suggested changing the program ResHacker.exe but I do not know how to change the resource to expand the window named
"Identity selector".

What you're showing here is the identity selector, not the "menu for postal addresses". I wonder what you think you are using this field for, as well as what you mean by "menu for postal addresses".

I wrote in my previous list, that it was me about the menu "Identity selector".

It seems to me that the picture shows more explanation than words.

In my case I used interchangeably "menu with postal addresses" and "Identity selector" because I have the same identity for a very long name on different mail servers.

For example, if you have:

alibaba_and_forty_thieves-admin@gmail.com

alibaba_and_forty_thieves-user@gmail.com

alibaba_and_forty_thieves-guest@gmail.com

in Identity selector you can only see the first 18 characters:

alibaba_and_forty

alibaba_and_forty

alibaba_and_forty

and You do not know who the identity of which corresponds to the address.

I see. How about renaming them to identifiable identities? For

example:

alibaba-admin

alibaba-user

alibaba-guest

etc.

You'll only be changing the names of the identities, not the

associated email addresses or any other information relating to the

identities. Hope this helps.

Edit: Okay, changing their names is

not as straightforward as I'd thought it would be. I guess there are

various ways, like creating new identities based on the ones you already

have. However, it seems easiest to me to change the names in the

[Pegasus Mail for Windows - Identities] section of the pmail.ini file,

using a text editor like Notepad. Exit Pegasus Mail first in that case.
