Odd behavior with HTML-formatted email: scrolling

The scrolling problem has existed for some time, and no immediate fix is likely. Forwarding of a web page is problematic, as web pages are not intended to be converted into email messages, formats are completely different.

I get some email messages formatted as HTML; recently I've noticed that if I click to open a link, everything works fine, the link opens in a browser, but when I come back to Pegasus it has scrolled to the bottom of the message.  This is really annoying, as I have to scroll back up and determine where I was reading.

I also seem to have trouble forwarding such email; when I come to edit the outgoing message the message text is blank, or has several lines with ">" but then nothing else.
