Still using 4.51, but plan to upgrade shortly. (Forgot...duh!!!)

I write a weekly newsletter and would like to add a box around some text to make sure it stands out. Is there a simple way to do this or something similar?

thnx

PS: Is there a way to add "blinking" text?

Use a table and select the option to  "Add solid borders"

thnx

PS: Is there a way to add

"blinking" text?

The only way I know to do this is via graphics.  Of course you could write the newsletter in HTML and then send it using Multipart/Alternative to send both a HTML and plain text copy.  Personally though I really like these to be sent as attached PDF files so that anyone with an Adobe reader can see this exactly the way you wanted it with all your fancy formatting.

Using a table should work.

Just tried it...is there a way to format the table?

IE: Change the color or thickness of the lines?

Also, I see that "Set cell color" is always grayed out...am I doing something wrong?

Lastly, when I use create a table and click "Help", nothing seems to happen- suggestions?

THANKS!!!!!!!

Nope, what you see is what you get.

Also,

I see that "Set cell color" is always grayed out...am I doing something

wrong?

You need to select the cells before setting the cell color.

Lastly, when I use create a table and click "Help",

nothing seems to happen- suggestions?

None, I guess there is no help.
