Restore emails/adress books

If you have Pegasus running OK but miss you old emails and if you know where you have your old email folders stored it
is pretty easy:
-  Choose "Folders"
- Choose "Add mailbox to list"
- Write the path to the filder where you have your emails for example D:\PMAIL\MAIL\ or whatever it is
- Add a name if you want

and that should do it.....

I allways back up my whole mail folder directory to an external harddrive since then it is pretty easy to quickly be up and
running after a crash.

My main computer crashed (drive corrupted by Windoze).  I have backups of date to an external drive, but have not needed to restore before.  I wanted to test by restoring to my laptop.  I discovered that on the desktop machine, Pegasus was installed in c:\Program Files\pmail, and on the laptop as c:\PMAIL.  Not sure how that happened, unless I did it.  I removed Pegasus and re-installed as c:\PMAIL.  After restoring all contents of PMAIL to the laptop, Pegasus does not see any of the emails, only the 10 I have downloaded since the reinstall.  Is there a way to get Pegasus to see those emails?  I am using the most current version.

I could uninstall Pegasus completely and restore the files, but in that case there would be no registry entry.  Would that cause a problem?  I seem to remember that older versions of Pegasus were not set up in the registry, anyway.

Thanks.
