Thanks for the response.  Yes, I refer to text in dialog boxes and lists like the one showing mail waiting on the server or the left pane of the address book.  See a neighboring thread titled "low vision use?"  where I've posted more detail (in hopes of helping both myself and that OP).  As outlined there, I found the Win7 "advanced" settings.  None of them seems to affect the problem screen areas.  I listed some possible workarounds in the other thread.  Will add

greater enlightenment there if I discover any.  :-)

Seems to me there's a sad irony here.  Many of us old fogies who've relied on and loved Pegasus for many years, finally graduate up to new equipment with much higher display resolutions, only to find that our favorite mail client becomes less rather than more convenient.  (And yes, I do understand that David puts yeoman effort into a free application.)

I've just upgraded to a new Win 7 (64 bit) computer with an HD monitor set to 1920x1080 resolution.  I've also upgraded to Pegasus 4.52.  The fonts in various parts of the program are uncomfortably small.  I can fix the three panes of the main folders window with the "f" button, but it doesn't work for other windows (contrary to the flyover advice). Is there a way to scale up their fonts?

Previous threads have reported similar issues, but I haven't found any robust, general solution. FWIW, I'm aware that I could decrease my screen resolution, and I'm aware of the Win7 magnifier tool.

Can I assume that you mean text in general dialog boxes and not just the text in message windows? For example the mail filter rules window as well? You might try changing the Windows DPI setting (see below), although this increases the size of everything on the PC, not just Pegasus. I don't know of a way to change the font size across all dialog boxes within Pegasus alone.

I only have WinXP, so I can't say for sure where to find the option in the newer versions of Windows, but a right-click on the desktop, then selecting Properties, opens the Display Properties panel (also available from the Control Panel). From there, take the Settings tab and click on the 'Advanced' button. A new window opens containing a General tab with a DPI setting option. Make the number bigger and that may help.
