using pegasus mail with hotmail

Let me understand things: you want to configure Hotmail to display mail from an account that you normally download using Pegasus?

The abilities, limitations and settings of Hotmail are not what we discuss on this forum. I'm sure Hotmail can do what you want but you would not need to change anything in Pegasus (with the possible exception of leaving mail on the server, depending on your situation).

Perhaps I am wrong about what you are trying to do, in which case please post again with more information.

Hello

I'd like to set up my hotmail account to capture my mails that i used within pegasus (this being a separate .com address not a hotmail address)  I have created a new user within pegasus mail and then changed the pop3 settings within hotmail for it to receive the pegasus mails within a new hotmail folder.  This seems to work but the hotmail account is also capturing all the users mail from within pegasus (ie my mails which is rich@whatever.com and also dave@whatever.com, when all i want it to capture is the rich mail address)

Are there some sort of filtering rules to sort my mails into the different folders according to the address they are coming from.

Hope this makes sense and someone can help

Many thanks

Rich
