Yes, that list. There's also an option (in the 'Messages and replies' section) that lets you turn off all autocompletion from the recently-used list if that suits you better.

When I set up my system I set it up so that my wife could use it and so set it up with a form of my address that was common to us both -- niallandjenny@....  She has her own computer now and I now want it have it as niall@...  I have changed it in every menu I could find, in every identify I have set up, but still there seems to be a default somewhere that brings the old one back whenever I  reply or forward a message.  What am I missing?

Only when you reply or forward? Anyway, are you, by any chance, using a Gmail account or other webmail account? If so, you may have to change your email address setting online. I've had to do that with my Gmail account. Hope this helps.

I would imagine that it's being autocompleted from the 'recently used' list. Delete it from there and see if that helps.

I am not using a gmail account.  All my mail is downloaded from POP3 servers.

I'll look into that one.  I take it you mean the list that can be used to fill in the to ancc fields?
