Is it failing to send messages when it isn't set to use the password/username from a POP3 definition? You are not totally clear on whether this issue is simply strange and confusing or actually preventing you from sending messages.

Also, because the option above it is to use a specific username/password, I wonder whether Pegasus is grabbing those details from the previously-set definition and using them (or trying to) under that setting. Just a thought - I'd be surprised if it was.

Running 4.41 with 98SE. Under tools/internet options/receiving/edit/security click on login to the SMTP server using pop3 username/password. The send will work fine. However, it changes back to being clicked on the box just above this all by itself. Usually after sitting a day or so, sometimes after reboot or restart of PM. Can go in and re-click the right one and it will work again. What is causing it to change on its own?
