Changing 'Import Picture' Dialog or set a default path?

is it possible to set a default dir for 'Import Picture', which always
opens?

No but you might set the shortcut startup directory to your location and this should be the first thing opened.

Hi everybody,

is it possible to change the dialog for 'Import Picture' to the dialog that occurs when 'Import text file' has been clicked. I'm asking because I'm missing the 'go to favourite dir' button. Why is there another dialog for 'Import Picture', anyway?

Alternatively:

is it possible to set a default dir for 'Import Picture', which always opens?

Version is: 4.52, OS are: Win2k and Win7
