Running Pegasus v4.52 (and have been for a few months) on Windows XP Pro.

I have recently done something that has caused the new mail folder's appearance to change.  I would like to know how to change it back to the way it was (and always has been until now), and I would like to know what I did to make this happen so I don't do it again.

The left-most column, the one that displays the message status indicators, has increased in width and now has a series of [+] boxes (that open a menu) or menus with a [-] box that closes it.   The menus vary with the column that is highlighted (From, Subject, Date/Time).  The Size column does not display this new behavior.

The top line of each menu is salmon colored and lists the contents included

Within the last seven days [6 messages, 6 unread],   followed by

  3 - 0 weeks ago [1 message, 1 unread]

When all the menus are closed, the entire folder is salmon colored.

Behavior is similar on the other columns, with contents divided by Sender, or Subject, or Date/Time

I have searched the Tools, Options for a switch that may have caused this and not found it,

I have looked in the Help file and not found it, and

I have looked in the v4.41 Manual and found nothing.

Also, highlighting another column sometimes crashes Pegasus.

Can anyone point me to the cause and corrective action, please?

Thanks

It looks to me like you have accidentally activated the "Grouped views" function for one or several folders (maybe by accidentally using one of the shortcuts e.g. Ctrl+Shift+2.

To switch it off again select the folder in the left folder pane. Then select from the Menu: Messages => Grouped Views => None (normal view) or use the Ctrl+Shift+0  (zero). You can set the "grouped views" for every folder separately and differently.

Hope this helped?

Cheers

Thomas
