Sounds like a Mercury issue to me - but I don't know anything about Mercury, sorry, maybe you should rather post to the Mercury support forum?

We recently "upgraded" from Windows XP to Windows 7.
I ported the Pegasus mail file for each user from their old machine to the new. Several failed entirely...
Of the ones that succeeded - a single user can received mail from outside the network, but can not send (she can send to local users). I logged two attempts. One was to an outside address (gmail) and the other to a local and outside address.

Any ideas as to how to fix this?
Michele

This sounds pretty clear to me?

Sorry - the question is - why is this address suddenly "non-local"?
On Weds everything was fine - Fri all the users files were moved to a new machine, and she could no longer send messages outside of the network. I changed no settings in either Pegasus or Mercury, so, any idea what happened or how to fix?

I don't think I understand: How would <outside address@gmail.com> be local unless you're GMAIL?

I feel like we are probably talking at cross-purposes...
The local user can not send to any outside addresses - but as she is the only one on the network who is having this problem. I, on the same network, can send to the <outside address>@gmail.com. What I need to know is, how can I fix this problem? She and I have identical (aside from user name and password) settings in Pegasus. We are accessing the same Mercury server. Why can I send to outside addresses and she can't?
thanks
Michele
