Hello,
I run Mercury 32 as a service on an WinXP machine. Mercury was initially installed as part of XAAMP. A few days ago it started to refuse to load and, occasionally, pops up a window with the following message: "Mercury 32 needs a valid license to run as a service".
Initially I had no problems (it worked without such an issue for approximately one week). Today I went through a Windows "System Restore" routine and the problem went away (but, I suppose this is just a temporary fix...)
Do I need to obtain a license in order to run the program as a service? I went through the licensing requirements found in the manual and I suppose I do not (I am using it for a small home network - 5 computers).
Any help will be greatly appreciated - I am far from an expert on these issues...
Kind regards,
