Hi, Folks

Yesterday, Pegasus Mail crashed on one of our staff. After re-opening Pegasus Mail, the search results folders as identified by the search folder icon, which are normally nested under a dedicated 'Recent Search Results' node, were distributed between the other folders. The Recent Search Results node was not present. Starting a new search recreated the node but although the new search folder is nested beneath this, the earlier searches remain in the main tree after restarting Pegasus Mail. I have also tried deleting the heirarch.pm file and restarting, but the view remains unchanged.

Anyone have any ideas what has happened, please?

I've asked the member of staff to leave them as they are for the time being. There are quite a few folders, and although most are no longer required, deleting them would be a chore especially with the delete confirmation dialog being presented for each one.

With Pegasus closed, go to the mailstore directory and find files  that have lnk*.pnl as the name. Rename from *.pnl to .old. Restart Pegasus the Search folders should be gone. Close Pegasus and delete the .old files.
