Forwarding HTML e-mail breaks original text

We have the same issue here, and it seems to be occurring more each day.  I've given my users tips on what to do for forwarding and printing, but they never remember and are starting to get a little annoyed.  I understand David is working on a fix, that's great news!  If some testing help is needed for the fix, I will gladly volunteer if it helps us arrive at a solution quicker!

Hi,

We're having problems forwarding some HTML mails we receive from certain senders. The e-mails seem to contain a table with data. When we forward the message, Pegasus breaks the original text after a few lines. So not all the original text is included in the forwarded message. We've tried every forwarding option we can think of, without any luck. Same thing happens when we try to reply. When I first select all text (CTRL-A) and reply on the selection portion, all text does appear (lay-out is gone though).

We're using Pegasus 4.51 in Netware mode, Mercury 4.72 as server and IErenderer 2.3.0.0.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ron

You're not the only one, the forum already provides several reports (and replies): Overlong HTML data lines not conforming to MIME standards (RFCs) are causing this, David Harris is working on it, no other solution than the one you mentioned available. Some messages won't even display other than on the raw view page.
