I use 5 quick actions to move mail to specific folders, never have any problems and I do use them over and over all day.

I use a toolbar.pm that puts these actions on the toolbar though so I do not have to even remember what actions does what.  Here's a snippet of my toolbar.pm.

0,10274,0,1836,"Sort Folder by Thread"
0,10311,0,1845,"Move to WinPMail Tester Folder"
0,10312,0,1858,"Move to the Mun's Folder"
0,10313,0,1207,"Move to the Teacher Folder"
0,10314,0,1844,"Move to the Gurke Folder"
0,10315,0,1173,"Move to the McCormick Folder"

There are all sorts of things you can do with a toolbar.pm.

My 4.52 version kept crashing after reading a few messages in the preview pane.  I tried several things including uninstalling Avast antivirus, reinstalling XP, but no joy.  Event Viewer showed this message for each crash:

"Faulting application winpm-32.exe, version 4.5.2.0, faulting module ter32.dll, version 15.0.4.5, fault address 0x0000426f."

Finally did some simple troubleshooting to determine what might trigger the crash.  It was Quick Actions.  Whenever I used Quick Actions several times in a row, the program would crash.  I had checked the "Allow activation without pressing Ctrl when in folder windows" box, so I could quickly sort my mail with one hand on the numeric keypad.  Holding Ctrl and pressing the quick action key does not crash the system. My system is XP professional SP3.

There may be some better fix, but holding the Ctrl key is a pretty minor sacrifice.  Just glad to be able to keep using the best email program around.
