Cannot get mail

Sorry, I'm not sure what you are trying to do. Unless you own the domain example.com there is probably not much to gain from trying to use it in the mail server setup. If Outlook is running on the machine as Mercury just specify 127.0.0.1 as POP3 server address in Outlook to receive messages.

Hi Mercury Experts,

I'm able to send mail to Mercury with Outlook, but can't receive with Outlook.  I use authentication in SMTP and have added the line in the username/password file and Outlook says the server accepted the message sent

I've added www.example.com to 127.0.0.1 in my hosts file, so my users are named username@example.com, and they all use the same authentication saved under MercuryS SMTP.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

 Thank you very much!

Mike
