PM461: Add Attachment: Bug?

Problem solved. I did the installation wrong - so PM did not find its icons...

Sorry for the confusion. PM did a very good job here!

Adio,

Gerd

Hello *,

can someone reproduce this, too?

PegasusMail v4.61 under WinXPsp3 (with Novell Client v4.91sp5ir1)

1. Start a new mail

2. Press the 'Attachment' button

3. add an attachment

==>  the button row starts flushing; the CPU load increases to 100%; PegasusMail is unresponsive

To stop this behaviour, kill the winpm-32 process or delete the added attachment from the 'Attachment' window.

Cannot replicate. 4.61 on XPSP3, but I don't have the Novell client.

Cannot duplicate using Netware v3.12.  The first thing that comes to mind though is that you are trying to attach a file where the path to the file is longer that allowed by the client.  What happens when you attach a file from the root of a drive?

WinXP SP3
Novell Client 4.91.5.20080922

It might be helpful to get some more details about this issue by using the "snapshot" option of the MiniDump extension (while Pegasus Mail isn't responding).

I can't reproduce this either. WinXP SP3, Netware 6.5SP8 and 5.1SP8, client 4.91SP5. Have you got file caching turned on or off in the Novell client?

If file caching=on, can you retry with client caching=off?

File caching is off. The attachment will be loaded from the local C: drive; the path name is really short (< 20 chars).

As nobody can reproduce it I will have a deeper look at my setup.

Thank you,

Gerd
