Customised toolbar

Schlafen Sie gut!

Schlafen Sie gut!

I'm using a customised toolbar, also in release 4.61, and would like to move the IE Renderer button a few places to the left. Is that possible? If it is, what are the Control and Bitmap IDs?

Cheers!

No, it's not possible: As the renderer interface wasn't designed to provide a button I had to resort to using both the renderer interface and the extension interface for closer integration, so the button is actually an extension button and these ones are always the last ones to be added to the toolbar in the order in which Pegasus Mail loads its extensions. Sorry ...

No problem, Michael, thanks for your answer.

Thanks for the explanation Michael. I also didn't like the button there, especially since it is one you will probably rarely use. I tried the IERenderer for a couple of days but have decided to go back to BearHTML. The scrolling issue I used to have with Bear seems to have been cured in the latest version so I am happy to stick with Bear at the moment unless I find a reason to change.

If you don't use the renderer then you can easily get rid of the button by renaming 'ierenderer.fff' to something else once you have turned it off...

I think I've decided to go back to the big, bad Bear, too. I also notice that it seems to work better in 4.61 than it did in 4.51. IERenderer seems to work better yet, but a daily e-mail message I receive throws an error message every time when I use IE, and displays just fine if I use Bear. I wouldn't mind that TOO much, if it weren't for the difficult, and probably unavoidable, process for changing back and forth, requiring that everything I'm working on be shut down first.

In case it's useful, the error that I get from this particular daily e-mail message is:

I can certainly do that. I don't currently have one of those messages in my new mail directory, since I file them away in a storage folder. I can wait until tomorrow's example arrives and zip that up, or I can drag one of the existing ones back to the new mail directory. It's my understanding that dragging one from a storage folder to the new mail folder does not result in exactly the same format as what originally arrived, so that's why I ask.

Danke!

Well, foo. When I drag it back to the new mail folder, message properties doesn't give me a CNM filename. It just says "stored in folder". It'll be easier if I just send you tomorrow's new one.

Das tut mir leid.

Guess that's ok for me as I'm going to bed rather soon anyway, gute Nacht ...
