4.61 and imap poll minor issue (online or offline)

Very good idea. To bad this feature is not tie to the Identities.

I could of clone my main Identity with only that difference (frequent check)

Wait a second, it still can be done, I will both clone my ID and the IMAP profiles.

The "OFFLINE" ID will use the IMAP clones with the "Periodically update the INBOX" off.

Flipping ID's is much more user friendly.

Thanks a lot, your recommendation lead to a great workaround.

BTW - Do you think trying to poll IMAP profiles during OFFLINE qualifies as a bug?

Regardless if pmail is online or offline (the little pipe icon at the bottom)

Pmail still polls the imap accounts which chokes the GUI for few seconds.

This is very anoying when you are typing a message.

I would expect Pegasus not to try to pull in offline mode. Maybe a bug.

Suggestion - use a separate thread to poll in order to prevent the GUI from stalling.

Quick fix, delay the polling if the user is currently typing.

Another workaround might be to disable Periodically update the INBOX view for the respective account.
