Is there a way to cause IERenderer in PMail 4.6.1 to suppress the message headers when printing a formatted message ? There are cases when this is desirable.
TIA

Yes, but you can only configure this in Pegasus Mail's own print dialog which requires you to print a plain text message before printing a formatted one. Unfortunately there's no easy way of modifying IE's print (preview) dialog, I could only add an additional dialog for achieving this directly - maybe a menu option would be more convenient.

Thanks for clarifying, Michael. It sounds like the least undesirable way to print a formatted message without headers is to continue copying it to MS Word and printing from there.
If I add a menu entry what would be the prefered handling: Should it always auto-reset on Pegasus Mail's restart to include headers (actually to whatever is selected in Pegasus Mail print dialog) should it be "sticky", i.e. keep the last selected option between sessions? I would opt for the auto-reset option so it keeps Pegasus Mail's setting if not specifically changed.

Michael,
I believe that I would print most formatted messages without headers, if given the choice. However, other users (perhaps many others) would prefer to print headers with their messages. If I had to specify "no headers" each time I printed, it would not be much of a burden as long as it could be done fairly easily--with a menu selection or dialog option for example.
Thanks for all the work you have done to make IERenderer a valuable improvement to PMail.

If you were using Bearhtml you could update Bearhtml.ini to set Prtflag=0 instead of Prtflags=3. The Shift + Ctrl + P to print the page.

Thanks for the suggestion, Martin. While I usually print messages without headers, there are times when I want to include headers. Editing the .ini file twice each time I want to print headers seems bothersome, but I'll keep it in mind as an alternative. Also, have the truncation issues during printing and forwarding attributed to Bearhtml in another thread been resolved? I haven't kept up to date with that subject.

That sounds like the start of a new feature to toggle on/off production of headers (and page count too?)

If I'm correct, PMail has allowed users options with headers when printing un-formatted messages. Page counts/numbers would appear to be a completely new feature
BTW, I discovered quite by accident that BearHtml continues to print a formatted message even when selecting 'Cancel' from its print dialog (Ctrl-Shift-P). Is it intended to work that way? Perhaps it's something peculiar to my setup.

Thanks for that clarification, Michael.
Thanks for the info, Martin--and your work with BearHtml. I see by your other post that 4.6.5 is now available. I'll d/l it and update.

Michael,
I just downloaded and installed IERenderer 2.4.2.3. The addition of the button menu item for specifying or suppressing the printing of headers is very helpful for my purposes. Thanks so much for including that feature.
