How to get PDF or DOC of *multiple* messages? (aka print-multiple?)

Bullzip PDF printer works great. You can configure it to merge successive printouts into a single PDF. I configured mine to always print to the same PDF file on my desktop. I then set Bullzip to be my default printer. I can print as many times from as many programs as I want and then simply rename the file and permanently save it somewhere or email it and then delete it, etc. I use it extensively on my laptop because I use it in situations where I have no printer hooked up. I print everything to the PDF file and then hardcopy it later when I have a printer.

Hi all,

I am trying to collect a single document which I will be editing, to create a nice summary of a large set of emails. In essence, I want to gather headers + contents for this email set.

I don't see a way to do this, other than a rather laborious way: print each email separately to a PDF, then collect all the PDF's.

Anyone know a shorter way, either to print-all to a single PDF, or to save-all (with formatting) into a file?

It is a very mixed set of emails... from plain text to fancy HTML with no plain-text version.

Thanks much,

pete

Hi Pete

You can either export your emails to a txt file but you'll have the complete headers, the tags for html formated messages (select the mails, right clik and choose export to a text file), it seems that it is not what you want.

You can also print each of them to a pdf file (as many files as you've messages to print) and then merge the pdfs to one pdf (you can use pdfsam to do it), the problem will be to sort the files according to their date (or whatever you want them to be sorted by).

Sorry but I've no better solution.

Regards

Depending on which software you use to print to pdf, you may be able to specify multiple jobs to one file.

Unfortunately I can't tell you which drivers will or won't give that option.

You might look into PDF Creator from Sourceforge. I've only used it a short while, but i was successful in combining two documents into one PDF file. You may be able to print several messages into one PDF. Its help file guided me through the process. It can be downloaded from this page.
