Michael, May I crave your help! I too am having configuration problems. I have just installed Pegasus Mail 4.61 while maintaining my Gmail account as my sole address. Although I am sending mail out though Pegasus OK, I have been unable to access my incoming mail from GMail, using Pop. I have followed the setup wizard as best I know how, and I have configured the GMail end. When I call up my Gmail-generated mail through Pegasus, I get the error message "Peer connection failure (The host has refused the connection)". My platform is Windows 7. I have identified my server host name as pop.gmail.com, and I was using port 110 which Pegasus cites as the default. I have noted that GMail suggests for non-preferred clients such as Pegasus, trying port 995. I have just tried that and still nothing comes through, not even an error message this time!. Have you any thoughts? Cheers, Michael Jones (NZ)

I think you will find that Gmail requires direct SSL for incoming mail.
I presume you have enabled POP in the Gmail web interface.
In Pmail you will need to configure Tools - Internet Options - Receiving (POP3) for Direct SSL.(Security tab)
995 is the correct port for POP3 over SSL.
Your username is your full email address.
