Windows service problem

Hello All,

How could I setup and monitoring a working (of course it is a licenced Mercury version...) Mercury/32 windows service.

I have to realized to have to stop the service and run the Mercury application, config,  close and start the service again.

Is there any easy way to administrate / monitor it without stoping the service ?

This depends on the Windows version. Up to the XP generation there is no problem, but after that services run in session 0 that is isolated from the user desktop. In the next major release of Mercury the GUI will be separate from the service. Until that it might be possible to bypass it using the solution in this thread, though:

Other than that some administration can be done using the add-on web tools interface that can be downloaded here:
