Removing a folder - Pegasus 4.52

Dear Michael

Thank you once again.  You sorted out my last problem which was remarkably similar as regards solution.

Many thanks indeed.  I need to get a better (personal) memory.

Help !!!

I am shortly to be leaving my current employment and consequently am rapidly trying to reduce my complement of e-mail files and folders.

However, I find I have an odd folder labelled    "C UCU"   which indicates that there are sub-folders or files (there are not any displayed) and which therefore prohibits me from deleting it with the message  "You have asked to delete a tray file which still contains folders. Please delete or move all folders from the tray before attempting to delete it."

Does anyone have a fix for this please?  Thanks in anticipation

Open Help => About Pegasus Mail => Info to find out about your Home mailbox path, then open the respective directory and locate HIERARCH.PM which contains all mailbox, tray and folder names used (open in NotePad or the like for plain text editing and always create a backup before changing contents). If "C UCU" is a tray you should find several entries containing this name, one of them indicating the mailbox containing the tray, the other ones indicating the folders contained therein including their filenames (starting with FOLxxxxx) except for the PMM and PMI extensions for folder and index file repectively. Removing these lines (while Pegasus Mail is closed) would remove the tray, but any folders contained therein (if any at all) would reappear (as stand-alone folders) in your mailbox after doing so if the files are still around.
