Hi there,
I just installed the pegasus, even though I was warned it would be a tough one to set up.
I have a hotmail account, , which is a little different and thus, makes it difficult for me to make the pop3 address work.
Now, before that: I have the avast free, it detects the pegasus pop3 and probably doesn't stop it. I also use zone alarm and completely allowed pegasus to do as it pleases.
For incoming, I've got: server: pop3.live.com, port: 995, SSL.
When I try to download e-mail, I get:
POP3 network or protocol error: Showing communication between pegasus and the server appears at the foot of this window. And below: Trace showing end of transaction - << No trace information available >>
I assume the error is in my pop3 profile -> username@pop3.com. See, this is university mail and to log in, it requires the entire address me@myuniversity.com. This and only this is my username. Just 'me' doesn't work.
Any suggestions?
OK, I begin to get the whole thing. Still doesn't work, though.
