Thomas, as I previously mentioned already, the program proved to be somehow unstable in my case even before I've done any changes to it, i.e. the toolbar. Therefore my problems were not necessarily related to making use of something that is not supported.
Again, by this I'm not saying that Pegasus Mail is not working properly (doing its job, I mean) or that people should stop using it. I really appreciate your work, I really do. Only sometimes the saying "if ain't broken, don't fix it" really proves to be true. In so many years of using version 4.41 I've never experienced any problem with the usage of "Change user" option. And to be honest I'm very happy with this program. The only problem I have at the moment (sometimes) is with the display (or NOT displaying, to be exact) of the toolbar. Which I know it's not because of Pegasus Mail, but because of the new operating system (Windows 7) - some settings or drivers... I'm still trying to figure it out. Otherwise than that, Pegasus Mail is rock solid.
The operating systems have changed over the years. OK. So you have to play by others rule. I understand that. But giving up of some options / functions just to release a new version that is compatible with the new OS... I'm sure you'll find another way around. And I could even risk placing a bet there: that you will do your best to re-introduce the "Change user" option. I don't know, I just feel this way... Otherwise Ferrari should start manufacturing their cars with a speed limit of just 120km/h, just because Police says you can't drive over that speed. If they don't care about this, why would you care about what Microsoft says?[;)]
Kind regards,
Hamilton
