Since I posted my message I have endured the automatic "jumping to browser" but this morning was driven to see if there had been any answers to my question and I have just found yours.

Holding Ctrl down while clicking on a URL in my version of Pegasus works!  Thank you!  The URL opens in the background while I continue reading the email.

If I click on an URL (web link) inside a Pegasus email, then the page opens up in my browser AND I am automatically transferred to it.  I am FORCED to have to read the page in the browser immediately.  If I don't want to do so, I have to click my way back into Pegasus.

Is there a way of getting Pegasus to open a link  WITHOUT being taken to the browser?

I want to keep reading my emails in Pegasus and, later on, go to the pages that have opened up in my browser.

I don't want to get taken to the browser every time I click on link.

Wait for the imminent v4.62 release ... BTW: This feature is already available in (recent versions of) IERenderer (for HTML messages), just press the CTRL key while clicking a URL.
