how to pipe incoming mail using php script.

Hi friends,

 

i am using mercurymail  with xampp for sending mails locally.i am working on a requirement where i have to read emails arrive at my mailserver. Is it possible to pipe a php script whenever a new mail arrives at server.pop, imap classes are avaialbe to read mail inbox. but they require cronjobs and polling server.

Policies, global filtering rules or daemons can trigger on incoming messages. To access message data a policy might be the best way to go (Mercury Core configuration / Policy). Mercury help has additional information about policies.

thanks for your reply. i tried to create a policy  . created a batch file which executes a php file. but it is not working. Batch file is working while executed normally.but while send or recive the policy is not working. could you guide me though how to run a php scirpt while a mail is received. Is there any working example of policy also very help ful
