line wrapping and queued messages

Rod

Thank you so much .

I actually finally find the line wrap last night so took care of that.

Thanks for the info on the unsent.  Was driving me crazy.  Looked all over the place for SOMETHING but just couldn't find it.

Again my thanks and be looking for me online as I'm sure I will be there until I learn.  Just switched from Thunderbird as the filtering just wasn't working. It's a known problem and Thunderbird isn't correcting the issue.  Hope Pegasus is a little better.

I just started using Pegasus yesterday.  Have gone thru the whole manual and still confused on 2 simple issues.

1)When and email arrives, the lines stretch way out to the right.  It's like there is no line wrapping.  I went to Tools-Options-Incoming Mail-Message reader.  the box for the right margin line wrapping has 100 characters in it.  I think the manual was saying that something else had to be checked but not sure what.  Emails are still coming in without the text line wrapping.

2)When I try to sign out of Pegasus, it's saying I have queued unsent messages and asks if I want to send them.  I check the box to send and then exit.  It comes up and ask if I'm sure I want to delete the message.  Is there a way to see the unsent messages so I know what hasn't been sent yet? It's the email into my copy folder but now I'm unsure if a message has actually gone thru.  And if not I need to find out how to look at the unsent messages.

Your replies are greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Todd

Hello Todd,

Welcome to Pegasus Mail. I've been a user of Pegasus for 10 years or more and I reckon it's the greatest email program. Now, on to your problems.

1) 100 characters is the default setting and that can be changed as needed. But, you also need to enable the option. While your mouse is over the message text, right click and check the option "Wrap long lines" (Ctrl-F5)

2) To check for unsend mail, from the "File" menu, go down to "Review queued mail...." Your unsent mail will be in there. You can send the mail straight away from this screen by clicking on "Send now". To see how many unsent messages you've got, look down the bottom and you should see "2 queued" or whatever number there is to send. If there is nothing there, there are no messages ready to send.

Hope this helps.

Don't hesitate to ask any other questions.

Cheers

Rod.
