Please can someone familiar with
Pegasus Mail help me or point me to the information howto do it?
(Is Mercury relevant??)
And please forgive the long description.
My ancient Turnpike 5 email client
enables use of a single 'domain' and single login password with any
number of Users
(Single PC - Windows XP or Vista or 7
using broadband always connected ).
I want (if possible) to set up Pegasus
the same way.
Turnpike can be set so that it works as
if the 'domain' is a company name and all mail to the Company
(domain) is stored in the Company mail room then copies are
automatically sorted and sent to the individual 'Users' desks in the
office.
Each Users mailbox has a 'reply'
address of that Users mailbox.
All mail is received @domain.isp.co.uk
with a single password.
It then distributes to relevant
mailboxes e.g., user1@domain.isp.co.uk
or user2@domain.isp.co.uk
and so on.
Mail can be filed against that User
mailbox or selectively to any 'User' name e.g. 'accounts' or
'domestic' or 'family' etc.
Turnpike is an outdated email system
and I am trying to find a more up to date replacement.
I have been trying to find how to set
up Pegasus Mail (v4.61) in Multi-User form as I think this will
provide what I want.
I have looked at 'identities', 'mail
folders', mail boxes' but cannot see how to create multi-user
mailboxes so that all incoming mail from '@domain.isp.co.uk' gets
filtered into its own User' mailbox.
I've searched the PDF Manual and Help
and forum but am not sure if Pegasus Mail calls what I want either
Mail Boxes, or Mail stands, or Identities, or Personalities or just
Users.
Thank you for reading this!, if you can
give an answer, then thank you again.
