return address not displaying correctly

Thomas

Thank you for your response.  If you are referring to in config on mercury screen it is set to ~n.

Is there something I missed was the a config file I have to generate and copy?

Not sue if this is a mercury or a pegasus issue

I have an existing mercuy /pegasus environment setup in non native netware mode

I must be forgetting something

I setup a new user whose name is longer than 8.  so the mail directory has been truncated to 8 charchters.

When the user sends an email the return address shows up truncated ie 12345678@xyz.com

I can compensate in the pegasus modifying the default return address, but this not the way I have it for others and the display name is still truncated

help please

thanks

If you use ~N instead of ~8 for the local mail box directory path (C:\PMAIL\MAIL\~N) then the e-mail username will not be truncated to 8 characters.
