When I send email with docx / xlsx attachments from Peasus 4.62 to Gmail, no mail appears i Gmail. Mail with other types of attachments appears without problems. The same seems to happend if I send emails from Pegasus to our Notes-system.

I get no error messages about what is going on or some mail in the spam filter. Mail just seems to disappear. Can anyone explain this?

This may be possibly related to Gmail and many other servers not allowing any zip archives with binary content through. I think both of those file types are being identified as zip archives containing binary. I found when Gmail won't let a zip file through shifting to .7z archive works. As far as I know doxx is a compressed format. Gmail does let zip files through ok when they can check them and verify they do not have binary content. A zip file with only plain text is not a problem.

Are you specifying file type when sending or are you just using mailer decides?

I just use mailer decides on fil-type and encoding. Do you mean this is the problem?
