I think what you are seeing is a temporary filename created by Pegasus (temp file stored in your temp folder) if you simply double-click the attachment to open the attachment direct. If instead you click the button for Save or Save+Edit, Pegasus will use the original filename and furthermore give you the chance to save it to a folder of your choice. (It also keeps a list of recently used folders.)
