in version 4.62 it isn't possible to have HTML-view.
I always get the error: 404 page not found - Internet Explorer

This issue only occurs on some systems having IE 6 installed (for an unknown reason): On my XP test environment with IE 6 it doesn't occur and I know of at least one user on W2K (which cannot update IE anymore) who doesn't encounter this either. IOW: If you can't update to a later version of IE you can only disable IERenderer via its button menu, sorry. You can try a different cache path (using IERenderer's configuration dialog), but this might not help either.
