AW: Mercury/32 with NDS and Netware-Authentification

If you have to access a Netware file system, then you should NOT use Mercury from a service running.

We start Mercury in a scheduled task (Windows Task Scheduler) with the special Netware and Windows account after every boot.

To access the user interface of this instance you must stop this scheduled task. Then you can start Mercury with user interface.

Hi there,

IS:

Mercury/NLM in NDS-Mode on Novell Netware 6.5
Authentification via UID and Password in section [NDS] in MERCURY.INI

 WANTED:

Mercury/32 with NDS-Mode on WinXP or Win2003 Server, installed as service
No LDAP available
Tested and works fine as long as I am logged in to Netware via Netware Client with special Netware-Account

 PROBLEM:

How to tell Mercury/32 about the account-data of the neccessary Netware-Account (default is admin, have a special one)?
As read in documentation, with bindery-mode I'm asked for the account-data, but not in NDS-mode. And the account-data seems to be stored into a encryted file, so obviously no way doing it like with Mercury/NLM. How do I generate it and tell Mercury/32 to use it?
How to tell Mercury/32 to use SYNONYM.MER and where to locate it?

Bye   Olaf

Found that in MERCURY.INI ... so this part is solved. But the authentification-problem persists.
