Which font did you choose for reading mail? On which version of windows? Is that font capable showing unicode/UTF-8 characters?

in setting I chose "UTF-8", yet I can not read some of the emails, the character is just a mess

This is way too little information, and changing the character set doesn't affect reading messages, it only affects outgoing messages. What version of Pegasus Mail are we talking about? What kind of messages, formatted (HTML) or plain text? What about a screenshot (to be attached at the top of the forum editor on the Options tab)?
