Popfile makes M/32 crash?

I disabled the Windows indexing in M32 folder, subfolders and files; no more crashes. Thanks again.

Hello.

Yesterday I installed PopfileD to catch spam server-side;after this, I began to have M/32 crash; here is the loader logfile

11-12-15.1541: Restarting Mercury after apparent abnormal termination

11-12-15.1607: Normal operation restored - resetting counters.

Here is the config

-  Windows Server 2003 R2 sp2

- M/32 version 4.72

- Popfile version 1.1.3

- PopfileD version  1.22.4

I see PopfileD has not been updated since 2009 (year of the release of Popfile 1.1.0); maybe a compatibility issue? Anyone has been experiencing problems?

Best regards

Filippo

I have been using POPFileD with Mercury v4.73 and earlier and have never had a problem with it.  I suspect though that you have something else working this mail directory not under the control of Mercury, like an anti-virus program, that's fighting Mercury and the daemons for access to the files.  I run nothing against my Mercury mail directory structure that is not controlled by Mercury.

Thank you; going to investigate.
