the hot key informations seem to be only exist in German (or maybe non-English?) versions (checked with PM 4.51 and 4.63). The English versions were both free of this addition.

Ok, the attachment information for outgoing mails is more consolidated this new way. But to be consistent it would be necessary to inform about incoming attachments the same way. (Maybe scheduled for PM 5.x?)

first of all happy new year to all and many thanks to David Harris and his team for the new version of Pegasus Mail.

I'm really sorry but it looks like something went wrong in this build - at least on my PC or in the German version:

When I create a message and add attachments in former versions the attachments were symbolised by an icon top right with the number of them. I've really gotten used to it.

Now with PM 4.63 the icon is vanished and the number of attachments is shown on the caption of the attachment tab. It seems to be a (new) feature, not a bug. But in the German version the tabs "Message" and "Special" show the hot keys [F8] and [F9] which is confusing at least.
