simple issue? How to clear auto-complete addresses?

To Thomas - my original post already said I had tried deleting Recently Used entries - that doesn't work.

Olaf - you got it!  I had a check in the "addressbook" portion of autocompletion, so Pegasus was grabbing the first address that matched! Screen shot of the setting attached, I think.  NOW it is unchecked.

Thanks.

Rich

Pegasus's auto-complete is often useful.  [:)]

But sometimes it pulls up very "undesirable" addresses. I have tried deleting some or even all of the Recently-used addresses, but Pegasus still retains some undesirable addresses for use in auto-complete.

How do I clear the auto-complete addresses so I can start over?

Thanks in advance!

1. Use Help | About Pegasus Mail | Info and note the HOME mail directory.

2. Go to the home mail directory and delete the file winpmfua.pm that contains the addresses.  This is an ACSII text file so you could edit it with Notepad.

The DEL key works as well in the Recently Used Addresses list ...

Maybe besides recently used addresses youactivated autocompletion against your adressbooks and those addresses are in there?
