The copy self uses only the name of the folder, the tray is not used at all.  If you have folders with the same name in different trays then the copy self will select the first one it finds and store the message there.  Could this be what is happening to you?  

This is not at all related to v4.63, Pegasus Mail has done it this way since about v2.x IIRC.

Could really use some help here. Have been a Pegasus user for almost 10 years now.

 Running 4.61 on Win7 system and having some issues.

Recently my filing system started acting up. For some reason it would file the "sent emails" everywhere. I would find them in various sections from the "to do" to several others sections. They should be in the "sent emails" section, but for some reason about 30% of them ended up elsewhere. 

Then for no apparent reason my filtering system went wacko as well. I get a lot of emails (400 or so a day) and with the filters it allowed me to get to the important ones right away, and do the rest later. Not now. About 80% goes into the "new mail" inbox and is not filtered. Then I went to the "tools, filtering" and so on and checked everything and it appeared fine. Finally deleted the all the rules and started over again and its doing the same thing, filing things that have no "rule" in the "to do" box, and others elsewhere. Have tried reindexing and recovering time after time with no luck.

Next is that my outbox has three emails that have no subject, data or email addy. Been sitting there for months and I cannot delete them and cannot do anything with them. Do not know where they came from but sure cannot get rid of them. 

Any suggestions?

Do you have av scanning in place that might be interfering with the process?

Am using the same AV (AVG) that I have used for years with the usual updates.
