Hello,

Just a question. Is it possible that the SMTP Relay client cannot login (authenticated) to the given smtp server if the username contains an "@" character ?

We have tried a lot but cannot make a connection later remove the "@" character from the user name and now it is working fine.

Thankx,

Jhonny

I use MercuryC to connect to a Yahoo host to send the mail. This connection uses the full SMTP e-mail address for the authentication username so I know this is not a Mercury problem.  I guess it's possible though the the SMTP relay host you are using does not support the use of the @ symbol.
