It sounds like your reply button is configured to do a quick reply 
with last options but the reply options have changed making it behave 
differently than what you expect.  Hitting the "R" key while reading a 
message will invoke a reply with the reply options box.  Change the reply option settings as needed to get the results you 
want.  This may take multiple test replies.  These settings are sticky 
so they apply to future replies until changed.
You can change the 
behavior of the reply button by clicking on the black arrow to the right
 of the reply button and selecting the behavior you want.
You might also consider testing with IERenderer enabled and disabled to 
see if that makes a difference.  Make sure you have the most current 
version of IERenderer which is v2.4.7.4.  
I am puzzled by the reply results being different when generated 
from viewing in text mode versus viewing in fancy mode.  I can't 
duplicate that here.  Perhaps your efforts in resetting the reply 
options will give a clue.  Please let us know how you make out.
