This is weird - surely other people must have come up against this, but my search on this forum doesn't find any mention of it.
I have just got set up with a freshly downloaded copy of PM 4.63 nicely configured on my system, but I find that the spell checker is a pain up the butt. Quite apart from it not underlining unrecognised words, which I want (has anyone a suggestion of an alternative spell checker I could use with PM that does that?), this spell checker treats the single quote character as though it were a word character, so either I have to load my user dictionary with words with a single quote attached at the beginning or end - something I really don't want, or I have to be very careful to click the Skip button for each such spurious word - something I also really don't want to have to do.
I'm using the English (UK) dictionary, which, incidentally, has an awful lot of everyday words missing from it, so, that matter in itself is a pain because I have to keep adding words with undue frequency.
So, please, is there a way to stop this unhelpful PM response to single quotes happening, or is this simply a bug that everyone is more or less happily living with and therefore not reporting the problem here? -- Many thanks.
