550 5.1.7 Too many From identities, message rejected - SOLVED

Thanks for answering and taking the time to look at our issue. That by itself is very much appreciated.!

 

but we found the problem right before your nose and we all overlooked it.

The square brackets around the e-mail address are incorrect, change to <...@...>

 

 From: -------------------------- <info@----------------->

 et voila,.... problem solved.

When sending auto replying e-mail through mercury we get the following error

 550 5.1.7 Too many From identities, message rejected

 We are using MercuryS to send e-mail.

When sending e-mail from the client we have no issues.

 

We have a global rule that sends a message if the specific person is in the To of CC field

The reply message is below, however when running this on a different Mercury server we have no issues so we believe it should be fine.

Subject: --------------------------------
MIME-Version: 1.0

Is this message coming from Mercury or from the 'downwind' server that you are sending to with MercuryC/E ? (Use session logging to check.)
