Folders Window Hides

Greenman you are right - I am the only user of this laptop and nobody is changing screen resolution but ty for the thought.

Brian I was skeptical but i recreated the problem and the scroll bar fixed it. I don't know why I did not notice that myself when the problem happened on its own. Anyway thank you.

I have found that at times the Folders Window creeps up so that the bar at the top with icons is partially obscured by the bar with icons that is part of the surrounding frame. (I'm sorry but I don't yet know all the correct terminology for parts of PMail. I hope I have managed to be clear.) I find that I cannot mouse grab and pull back down the Folders Window but I can fix things by going to Window and clicking Tile. What I would like to know is what if anything am I doing to cause this minor problem and how might I avoid it?

Hi

Click Tools > Options. Under the General Settings heading there is an option to 'Save the Pegasus Mail desktop state between sessions'. Make sure this is checked.

I don't know what else to suggest.

The only thing I can think of, and I don't think it will apply, is making sure that your screen resolution remains constant e.g. different people logging onto the same machine and changing its resolution.

If you fix it, please post back with the solution in case anyone else encounters the same issue.

It sounds like the main Pegasus Mail window is being scrolled down causing the top of the Folders window to move up and out of view.  Is there a vertical scroll bar on the right side of your main Pegasus Mail window?  If so, reduce the height or reposition any open windows until the scroll bar disappears.  You will need to pay attention to this as you open other windows because this could be caused by any window that is opening large enough to trigger the scroll bar or whose window position extends below the bottom of the main window triggering the scroll bar.
