Your method is the best of course will fix it no matter what. The method I suggested comes in handy as a first step that is non destructive, can be done within the application.

Hi all,

I am a long time user, and fan, of Pegasus mail. Until now most of what I have had issues with I have been able to find answers in these forums.

However, this time I am perplexed and after doing a search here cannot find an answer to my problem.

First of all, my specs:

Pegasus Version 4.63 (Win 32)

Windows 7  Professional SP1

Now for the problem:

I received an email with an attachment and I went to save the attachment to my hard drive. The window showing the directories appeared and somehow I clicked on it and it maximised, taking up the whole screen. I am unable to reduce the size of it, first of all there is no "max/min" button on it, and trying to drag the borders with the mouse does not work at all.

Is there any place where I can go in to change the parameters so the "save to", and also the "attach from", windows will be a smaller, ie not maximised, size?

Problem is with state.pmj file in home mail box location for the user. It may be in the [selfol] section of fine or maybe elsewhere also.

With winpm-32 closed rename state.pmj to state.bak and restart and all will be returned to default values and then retest the problem function  and then shut down winpm-32. Compare the .bak and the new state.pmj entries to determine section and entry. Then copy that section from the new to the old .bak copy and overwrite and save and then rename to state.pmj and then restart winpm-32 and test the new values.

You could, at this point, decide to just go on operating and resize everything as you use each function and new state.pmj will be written to drive on proper closure. 

Another "fix" is to take old file and delete all v4... section of .bak file and save. Rename to state.pmj and then reset and resize as necessary for attachments and selfol values.

After all is back to normal and all sized to your preferences be sure to make a copy of state.pmj for future reference if needed again.  I do that by just selecting in win explorer the state.pmj file and then ctrl+c and ctrl+v  and Win7 will make copy of file for you.
