[quote user="Guy"]If you have more than one Identity, become the you main startup
Identity, not necessary "<Default>" (via the toolbar drop-down
or the menu Tools > Identities).
At the menu Tools > Internet options... | Receiving (POP3)
verify that the appropriate POP3 definitions are enabled,
and review the settings in the 'Polling controls' and
'Checking multiple identities' sections.
Then repeat the above for the other Identities, ensuring
those do not cause the same POP3 definitions to be checked.

You must be using a cell phone or some ipad because these appear as very short lines, sixty three (63) characters per line.
Not a problem just noticed this. I had already gone into the Tools/Identities and found there were two other identities included in that box, removed the other two (2) leaving just <Default> as mine.
The multiple checks have now stopped. I did not setup any other identity to have access to this PM client, at least do not remember doing that. It was done in such a hurry that I may have. It is now working the way I feel it should, in this area any way, maybe by the time Mr. Harris gets v5.x done and released this one will be fully operational. Then when the next version is released I can know what I am doing and will not have any of these difficulties in the next version.
Thank you for these suggestions and triggering my curiosity to investigate some on my own. You confirmed my decision to go where I did gives me more confidence in finding things more on my own and not bother you with such trivial problems. Leaving you free to do the more difficult . .
Good Luck and again Thank YOU so very muchly . . BAG!!
